Break-to-Clutch Brilliance: New Case IH Feature Explained

At The Agrarier, Case IH has rolled out exciting updates to its legendary Magnum series, introducing three new models for 2025: the Magnum 355, 385, and 405. These tractors are designed to meet the demands of today’s modern farms, combining higher horsepower, upgraded comfort, and intelligent technology to help farmers work more efficiently than ever.

All three new models are powered by robust FPT six-cylinder engines with 8.7 liters of displacement, meeting Stage V emission standards. The Magnum 355 offers 390 horsepower with a boost up to 410 HP, the 385 delivers 417 HP with a max of 435 HP, and the Magnum 405 holds steady at a powerful 435 HP. Whether you’re tilling, planting, or hauling, these machines are built to handle it all.

Farmers can choose between two transmission options: the proven 21x5 PowerDrive Full Powershift or the stepless CVXDrive, offering smooth and precise control. The Magnum 385 and 405 are also available in the Rowtrac configuration, which adds better traction and reduces soil compaction—perfect for sensitive fields.

New user-friendly features like the Break-to-Clutch function make daily tasks easier. This smart system automatically disengages the transmission when braking and resumes your previous speed when the brake is released. The enhanced Automatic Productivity Management (APM) system lets you fine-tune acceleration, shifting, and transmission settings through the intuitive Case IH Pro 1200 display.

On the hydraulic side, Case IH has added new electro-hydraulic rear remotes with greater flow, pressure relief levers, and color-coded self-sealing couplings—making connections quicker and hassle-free.

To top it all off, Case IH is making advanced technology more accessible. With features like AccuSync for machine coordination and the FieldOps™ platform for real-time data and planning, farmers stay connected and in control. And every 2025 model includes Connectivity Included, a free service for remote machine monitoring.

With more power, smart features, and a focus on comfort, the new 2025 Magnum tractors are ready to help you tackle any challenge in the field.
